  • Outlook for marketing jobs: One in three marketers tell us their company laid off marketing employees in the last 12 months. And many feel pessimistic about the job market: 68% believe finding a job is more challenging than five years ago. 
  • Marketers like their jobs, but that doesn’t mean they’re staying in place: Most marketers (76%) report being either somewhat or very satisfied in their roles. However, more than 1 in 3 (35%) are actively pursuing or highly interested in finding another job. 
  • Reskilling ramps up: More than 3 in 4 people surveyed say marketers need to master specialized skills to stay relevant in an AI-disrupted industry, but 58% say their organization’s training program isn’t keeping pace with changes in marketing.
